Are you serious??? I hardly think think that Nicole's 80 lb frame could bare a child (or even produce an egg for that matter!) Especially since she just dropped 15 pounds recently, not exactly the first sign of pregnancy. Not that I rely on National Enquirer as a truthful source but jeez...

So there's been this huge commotion about Svedka Vokda sponsoring
La Lohan's 21st birthday bash. Why? Because Linds is in AA and is a sober alcoholic *Hrrm* ok, if you say so, but I've seen her out and about and let me put it this way, she is not exactly drinking water! Yes, she is officially still in AA (and I do appriciate her trying I do, my friend J is an alcoholic, tho sober for 9 months now and I've seen how hard it's been for him to quit), but she's still drinking, doing coke and smoking pot, I feel like she's only mocking AA!
For shaaaame...

Fred Segal is fun!

I love my job! For the last hour today, we had basically no customers and out of nowhere all of us just had a spontaneous dance-off to "Walk it out"! It's so good to work with fun people :D

Review

This is the mascara I've been using for the past 3 weeks or so, and it made so many promises I have to admit, I was more than a little sceptic at first...

It claims to: Lenghten, thicken, separate, curl and condition lashes extremely well and with no hassle. It's also said to never smudge or flake, not even when you take it off in the evening since it comes off in little tubes!

In real life it does: All of the above!!! It's crazy but it actually works in every way it claims, I love the smell and that it never smudges (you know like some other mascaras that smudge very finely underneath your eyes and make you look like you haven't slept in 2 weeks), and I found it works best if you apply it in layers for the ultimate dramatic-volume-yet-naturally-separated-effect, and since I got a discount on it (at work), I can't even complain about the price! Yay, 5 out of 5!

I finally did it......

... after my good friend J nagged me forever, I finally pulled myself together and watched RENT! And now I understand why he wanted me to watch it so bad, I love it, it's wonderful and sad and happy and I love it!

What a day!

Sorry I've been a little abscent from the blog this week, friday night really drained me and I'm still feeling a little lightheaded at night so I try not to sit by the computer too much.

Anyway, today I had a day off from work and I took the oppurtunity to go up to Hollywood and Melrose to do some gift-shopping :) First stop was my beloved
Marc by Marc Jacobs for some gifts, I also couldn't resist trying on these


in silver even tho I knew I wasn't gonna get them :( So cute tho!
Then up to the Kodak centre which is still one of my favorite places to go in the city! Yes, I could do without all the turists and tourguides that are constantly asking you to by tickets and shit, but the feeling of standing upstairs , looking at the Hollywood-sign just can't be beat!

Awful night!

Oh god, I had the most horrible night! It all started when I came home from work and begun to feel a little lightheaded, oh well, no big deal, I ate dinner and watched some TV to get rid of it and when it didn't I just decided to go to bed, then it got really bad. My blood pressure crashed instantly, my mouth and throat got all numb, everything started spinning really fast and I blacked out a few times and I felt like I was about to die!

For those of you who have read my blog for a while, you know that this isn't the first time this happens to me, I hate having low blood pressure!
Anyone have any tips on what you can do when this happens? Or prevent it completely?

What the hell man???????

What happened you guys? I didn't think they were that bad, right? And who the hell won???? Freakin' Serbia???? Are u kiddin' me???? They technically had good voices but that was it! It wasn't a Eurovision song, there was no personality or showmanship whatsoever and I think they got a lot of pity-votes! That was complete bull if u ask me! I didn't actualy think that The Ark had the best song in there, but we definitely belong in the top 10!

Oh well, at least I hope to shake my booty to Turkey and Greece this summer, also really liked Hungary and Germany (big Sinatra-fan) and Ukraine, Romaine and France were just fun!
Damnit, one of them should have won instead!

Head hunted!

Today was just an ordinary day until I got out of work and decided to walk 3rd street home and drop by French Connection's VIP-night, then my day became wonderful!

Not only was there a red carpet, champagne and good music, but the store manager came up to me and said that he had seen me in action at Fred Segal and asked me to come and work for him instead!!!
So funny since that's how I first started at FS :) Such a compliment tho, it must mean I'm doing something right!

On fire!

Everything's on fire over here, they barely just got control over the Griffith Park fire, when the Catalina one started! Thankfully it's mostly up in the mountains, but a lot of people still have tot leave their homes...

Aaah, Eurovision!

This weekend it's time for ESC, Eurovision Song Contest! The biggest song contest in Europe that has been going on for over 50 years, and it's still our joy and pride and everyone loves it even if they don't admit it (I still remember my awkward teenage phase where I pretended to wanting to go out with my friends, then made up an excuse and stayed home watching ESC, hehe) This year,

No smoke without fire

Paris is trying every way that she knows to get over the shock that she's going to jail for 45 days, she goes shopping, she eats Pinkberry, she's crying in public and of course, smokes some pot to ease the pain!

She's made an open statement saying she thinks that her punishment is both "cruel and unfair" Ehrm, what??? What's so unfair about it??? She drove drunk (many times) and finally got her license taken away, the she got in the car again and drove without a licence, and theeeen, she was almost 20 mins late for court!!!



She gets 45 days in jail, and anyone who's ever had a loved one hit by a drunken driver must agree that it's about time Paris learns her lesson before someone actually gets hurt!

Beverly Center

Finally home after a very successful day at the Beverly Center, I went to H&M for the first time since xmas and I have to say, they have improved, a lot! I found a bunch of stuff but of course, hey didn't have any of "my" things in my size :( So instead I bought a whole bunch of stuff for H, it's just so much fun shopping for guys :) And I finally found a b-day present for my dad (not H&M tho) and a little treat for myself, a cute dress from Forever 21 :)

Beautiful day

I'm just about to go to sleep after a wonderful sunny day. It started off with a 2 hour powerwalk along the waterline at Palisades Beach, it was really hot today (34 C!!!) but it's gonna get colder at the end of the week so I better enjoy it while it last.

My legs still hurt from some good dancing and partyin' on Saturday night with some friends (I'll see if I can upload pics later) but tomorrow I have the day off and going to the Beverly Center for some gift-shopping for friends and family before I go home to Sweden (only like 3 weeks left!) I can't wait!

Potluck!

Today there's a potluck at work in honor of Cinco de Mayo. Potluck is kinda like Swedish "Kntykalas" where everone brings a dish, drinks or dessert and I suspect it'll be quite a feast considering how much we all like to eat :)
I got talked in to bringing Swedish meatballs so I stayed up last night until 1'oclock (yawn!) making apprrox. 4000 meatballs (rough estimate) taht I know will be gone in about 2 seconds!

Now I know how my dad felt when he had to make waffles for my bro's birthday party, he kept making waffle after waffle and we all kept eating really fast until it was all gone and daddy never even got to sit down at the table with us! Aaaah, the selfishness of a child...

Jail next for Paris!

Yup, finally a jury who dared sentence a VIP to jail time! She'll be doing 45 days total and begin serving her sentence on June 5th, I just hope she learns a good lesson and doesn't get special treatment...

Our new home

Yes yes, I promise to post pics soon (it still needs some tidying up tho!) but I just find it weird that we've only been living here for a couple of weeks and already it feels so much more like a "home" rather than just a place to live, than our first apt here in LA ever did, and we lived there for over 1 ½ years! I love this new place!
