Internet is back!

Jeez, one week without internet is... an... incredibly... long... time!!! We finally moved all our stuff to the new apt and got internet and cable installed today *yay* I'll write more about the new place and everything else that has happened this past week (some pretty exciting things actually!) tomorrow when it's not midnight and I have to go to work the next morning *yawn*

Btw, thanks for all the nice comments about me and my husband! You guys are too sweet :)

Just watching MTV series "Engaged and Underage" about young couples (under 22 yrs) getting ready to get married and most of the time at least one of their families is against it.

I guess I'm lucky that both my parents and H's parents were ok with us getting married at such a young age, my parents might not have been thrilled but they've always trusted me to make my own mistakes or success.
Anyway, I got a quite interesting email a couple of days ago from a girl who just started reading my blog and she wrote (in Swedish)

"While I really like your blog I think it was really stupid of you to get married to early, you can't honestly believe that you and your husband are going to last forever!"

Oh, hi? Is it.. is it your life? Oh, it's mine? I see... I get to make my own decisions? Nice one...
Trust me, everybody had an opinion when we got married and while my absolutely closest friends were supportive, a lot of people simply said "You're an idiot!"
Well guess what, I know about divorce, my parents are divorced, I know that some relationships don't last and I don't believe in living together if you can't make each other happy (no, not even for the kids) but as long as me and my husband love each other and are happy together, let us decide if our marriage is worth it or not please, cause right now, I feel that marrying H was one of the best things I ever done!

We've been watching the video over and over again at work today, it's clear that he was seriously disturbed but that doesn't make it any less tragic, unbelievable...sad. I can't help but thinking about Anna Lindh, another victim of a mentally messed up man who couldn't control himself or get help. The mind is such a powerful killer.

Oh no...

Don't get me wrong, I love Adriana Lima, she's one of the few models out there who's not stressing to be a size 0 (she's actually a size 6-8!) and yes, she is even more gorgeous IRL, but what..is..she..wearing???? This horrible Vegas cocktail waitress/spandex-sleeves/pencil skirt-onepiece should be buried now and never be seen again! *Yuck!* Oh and by the way hun, it's April, not November... Jeez...

Larry Birkhead! Yay! He was my best bet and thankfully for darling little Dannilyn Hope he also seems like a fairly normal person who actually wants to take care of her, not to mention that the little baby's money will easily pay for Larry's gigantic lawyer-bill!

However, I have a hard time believing that Anna Nicoles' mom Virgie Arthur and her former lawyer/lover/reality co-star Howard K Stern will give up the fight that easily...

Only time will tell....

So sick...

Yes, again! You'd think the weather would keep me healthy, but these constant temperature changes are killing me! Not literally of course...

We've been trying to move this past weekend, a quite pathetic sight I'm sure, since both me and my husband are having the mother of all colds, but nevertheless we've one to IKEA, returning with not only a bed and a dresses, but of course the obligatory candy (Daim and Marabou) and of course meatballs :)

The trouble with Skype is...

..that it won't take my freaking payment! I've tried several times now to refill my credits and every time it just says "This very simple task that is the whole point of Skype is not working because it's stupid", or something to that effect...

My first official styling job!

Ok, so pretty much what I do everyday is shop for other people, sometimes for a gift, sometimes "I need a cute top to go with these pants"-kinda thing, and once in a while somebody will come in and say "I need a completely new wardrobe" meaning everything from underwear to a coat, and trust me, I love my job, it's always a challenge!

Today however, one of my regulars come in, she works for a record company and comes in all the time looking for clothes for her clients and today she brought with her Emma Anzai of Sick Puppies (an Aussi indie rock band, which I- to be honest- never heard of besides the Free Hugs film, if you haven't seen it you have to! It's too sweet, such a simple thing can bring so much happiness), anyway she needed an outfit for tomorrows (April 5th everybody!) Jay Leno show, so I picked one out for her and now I'm rediculously excited to see it on air tomorrow night!!!

This week has been beyond bad when it comes to blogging, I know! All we've done is packing up our stuff and started moving in to the new apartment *yay*, it takes a while considering we only have a small BMW to drive all our stuff in, but box by box, we're getting there :) I can't wait!
