Urban Outfitters have really jumped on the trend with short skirt and lots of volume! I for one love it! The one in the pic is my favourite so far, ivory with grey stripes and hidden pockets *swoon* Looove pockets! Of course, my size is sold out... :(

Yup, I had to go home from work today, I just feel horrible :(
Well, I'd rather be sick now then over xmas like last year! So I decided to take it easy today (tho I still have to clean the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom and do some laundry... Some day off!) Hmmm.... maybe I'll put up some xmas decorations to make me feel better...
Hopefully we'll have time to go to IKEA on Monday after...the thing, to buy some xmas stuff.

No no no!

I'm getting sick! Normally I get a cold about 10 times every fall but this fall I've been fighting them off! And now I guess it's time again... I just can't afford to get sick right now, I'm working 6 days a week and then..well there's something happening on Monday that I just can't miss :)

Oh, and my latest find: Again, Chloé-inspired pretty satin ballet flats w/ ankle-tie, in black and ballet pink! Aaand...these were also buy one pair get one free! Can you believe it???

S-s-so f-f-reaking c-c-cold!!!

It's been absolutely freezing today! It dropped dow to 6 C! Ok, I know it gets colder in Sweden, but if you've lived in SoCal for over a year you're not exactly used to it...

I ride my bike to and from work everyday and today I was riding against the wind in both directions!!! And it's slightly uphill all the way home! I was so tired and cold... Man I need to eat now :)

Wohoo, turkey day!

Today is finally Thanksgiving day! A time for family to come together over good food, talk and eat more food...

Last years Thanksgiving menu looked like this:

- Turkey (well, dah! We even had Tofurkey for the vegeterians!)
- Mashed potatoes
- Whipped potatoes (pretty much babyfood...)
- Cornbread
- Sweet potato-pie
- Macaroni & Cheese
- Gravy
- Cranberry Sauce
- Stuffing
- Vegetables
- Pumpkin Pie w/ Cool whip (The pie tastes kinda like soft gingerbread and cool whip is like a mix between cold whipped cream and ice cream...)

Doesn't sound too bad? Everybody has seconds AND did I mention the turkey is freakin 9 kgs??? That's 9 kg of meat to finish!!! It's seriously the only meal you'll need for the rest of this week....

It's working again!

Ok, so I came here to be an actress right? For the first time since I was 6 I'm thinking of just saying "Screw it"! I spoke to this acting coach today and she was a genuine bitch, we were just smalltalking about the business and I was asking her what's the easiest way to get an agent, she looks me up and down and goes:

"Well, first of all, you need to lose an 30-35 pounds, then we can talk!"

Are you freakin' kidding me??? That's seriously 15 kgs!!! I'd be at Kate Bosworth-level if I did that, and I'm sorry, but that is not cute!

I've never been the type to wear foundation and powder but to even out my complexion I'm thinking about trying a tinted moisturizer, I'm choosing between these two Stila options:


And after my YSL Touche Eclat leaked out almost the entire thing (I wasn't superhappy with it anyway), I'll definitely get a new concealer, I heard good things about this one:

Old lady Simpson

So I'm all for the floral kinda "old-lady-dresses" that are in fashion right now, to a certain piont! And the hair could have been cute, but it's just too...short or too curly or too...something! All in all it could have been good in theory but everything put together, the hair, the jewelry, the dress and the shoes.... Let's face it, she looks like she should be partying in Florida instead of in London! I think it's past her bedtime....

This dress have been really hot lately so I looked at it today at French Connection (the bronze/navy version) and it really wasn't all that :( The sequins were really dull and looked like cheap plastic, definitely not something that I'd pay $200 for! Maybe the gold version is nicer but otherwise don't waste you money....

I love H&M (it was prob just a bad day...)

Today I finally went to H&M in Beverly Center! I've been waiting a whole freakin' year for them to open! So how was it? Pretty big, rude sales people and not too many things that I actually wanted to buy... I'm a little disapointed but I had my expectations up way high so it's my own fault.
They had almost the entire V&R collection in all sizes still (except the skirt and the tights of course!)
I've been thinking about the trench coat and seeing how nice it looked on Engla I figured I might as well try it on...Well, now I'm in love!!! It's just adorable, just warm enough and comfortable! I need to have it! But of course the smallest size they had was an 8/38 and it was too big :( But I'm not giving up...

Of course I have to write about it! Yesterday the chaos was a fact around the worlds H&M stores, I was planning to go to the opening of the store in Beverly Center (yes H&M is finally open in LA!!!) but when I found out it was opening the same date as the V&R collection was released, I decided to pass. Still, there are a few peices that I really want:

The tights: Supercute and cheap, I want them in both colors!

The wonderful skirt: Lots of volume, beautiful color and high-waisted, so adorable with just a simple black tank and heels!

The trench: Probably would want it in black (I'm Swedish after all, too pale for beige), I don't have a trenchcoat and this one has adorable details!

People gathered at the Chicago House of Blues for K-feds concert, only to hold up signs saying he sucks *hehe*, but that's not the actual joke, no the real joke is: K-fed is said to be disapointed that he's not popular "anymore"! Anymore??? Excuse you? Have you completely missed that people/magazines/the whole music industry has beentrashing you since day one?

Oh my god, he's even more stupid than he looks...however that is possible....

Halloween Party!

Ok, I know Halloween was Tuesday but me and some friends are going to this huge costume party at Forbidden City in Hollywood tonight :) It's hosted by Gamma Beta Nu, a fraternity and it is officially my first frat-party! I know they're supposed to be bad (as in drunk college guys) but I figure, don't judge until you try it!

Elijah Wood is gay? 'Cause I never read nothin' about it! I never really read that he had a girlfriend either tho...
I mean, there's been rumours but if there's one thing you learn living here it's that there are rumours about everybody and their mothers, and they are very rarely true....

But I believe seeing is believing and what can I say; Elijah Wood and his date/boyfriend/life-partner/whatever trying on women's jeans in Diesel at 3rd street, openly hugging and kissing! Well, it's settled then, he's gay
(or at least bi) and many girls around the world suffers that special heartache that occurs when someone they never knew finds happiness with someone else...

I say, good for him! They looked very happy and were laughing a lot :)
